Sugar Ann Pea is an early-maturing snap pea known for its sweet, tender pods and compact growth. Plants produce crisp, bright-green pods about 3 inches long that are perfect for fresh eating, salads, and light cooking. Cool-season hardy and high yielding, it’s ideal for small gardens and containers.

Snap peas, or sugar snap peas, are basically a cross between garden peas and snow peas. The whole pod is edible and they have a crunchy flavor and sweet taste.

One of the best features of Sugar Ann is its earliness, up to 2 weeks earlier than comparisons. Its plump, edible pods are very sweet. The short, compact growth habit of Sugar Ann makes it ideal for urban gardeners with limited space who were previously unable to grow snap peas. The peas grow on a compact, 18-inch-high bush and can be grown with or without support. Remove string from pods before cooking.

Lavender, pink, and mint colors blend together on these gorgeous long pods. They have a more dense texture and intense bean flavor than green beans An excellent choice to use in an edible ornamental garden on a trellis, where you can watch the beautiful flowers grow before your eyes into pods. Begin harvesting at 10-12”, before pods plump up; if you do miss some the mature beans can be shelled then cooked like peas.

Harvest: Before the seeds bulge and beans snap easily. Pick continually every 2-3 days to prolong production.

Tips: Grow in light, well-drained soil, provide adequate, even moisture, especially at flowering time. Dry soil can result in low yields and fibrous pods. Do not over-fertilize with nitrogen which results in a surplus of foliage and low, delayed pod growth.

Blauhilde is a German heirloom French bean which produces beautiful purple stringless pods, 30cm in length, which turn green on cooking. Vigorous, productive vines reach 2.4 metres in length with rose-purple flowers before producing bunches of fleshy pods. Good resistance to Bean Mosaic Virus.

Di Vienna Viole o/Kohlrabi: Medium size plant with a short top. Plant is an early garden variety. Li plant from ground in whole when the stalk has reached its optimum growth.

It presents a contained vegetation, the internodes are short, with a contemporary production that extends from the ground to the top of the plant. The crop cycle is 65 days. The pod measures cm. 18/20 in length and cm. 2 wide; it has a bright yellow color from the very beginning of its formation and maintains the same fleshiness of the later classic "Meraviglia di Venezia" variety for a long time, so as to resist over-ripening for a long time.

Climbing, with little yellow horns, slow variety, with golden yellow long, large, flat pod. straight and very long  pod. It needs to be supported by stakes and nets. A favorite in Italy, these flat and wide snap beans aren't available in most grocery stores. Once you taste their delicious nutty flavor you'll wish you could grow them year round. The 4"–5" long pods are slow to develop fiber and seeds so they're nice and tender. 'Roma II' is delicious eaten fresh, and is an excellent variety for freezing or canning. Disease resistant.
