Cosmos Flower Mix, AAS Winner, Sensation Mix, Mexican, Annual, Cosmos Bipinnatus

These showy, colorful blossoms will have the neighbors talking. This easy-to-grow annual is shorter than most Cosmos varieties, so it fits well in smaller spaces. Cosmos is great for butterfly gardens and cut flower gardens alike.

Because of their Mexican heritage, these bright annuals meet high heat and drought conditions with native beauty and vigor. Spanish conquistadors searching for gold discovered these flowers on their journeys through Mexico. Mission gardens often included these flowers, which priests gave the name "cosmos," the Greek word for a harmonious whole, because of their neatly spaced petals. Cosmos flowers made their way to England with Spanish ambassadors in the late 18th century, and to the United States in the following century.

These can grow up to 48" tall.

Italian Giant Parsley Seeds, Gigante Di Napoli Italia, Large Leaf Herb

Gigante Di Napoli/ Italian Giant: Plant has an upright habit with medium cover. Plant will grow 22 – 24 cm (8-9in) long. Plant is uniformed and cylindrical with deep green and light green mottling

Stronger taste than curly parsley. Superb flavour! A high yielding parsley producing flat, dark green leaves of excellent flavour.
Ideal for use in salads or cooking.

At first glimpse, Gigante resembles rangy, wild-looking celery! The deeply-indented leaves form an unexpectedly large, open plant growing to 3’ tall. Gigante is an obvious favorite of Italian cooks, since flat-leaved parsley is vital to their cuisine. These sweet, intensely-flavored leaves are most prized and central to almost every pasta sauce. Gigante is also perfect for gremolata, another savory Italian mixture used in Osso Buco, rice dishes or rubbed under the skin of fowl before roasting - try it! Combine the zest of three to four lemons, 1/3 to 1/2 cup chopped Gigante parsley, 1 minced garlic clove and 1 shallot. Using a sharp blade, chop everything together until finely minced and use immediately.

Cut leaves, just before use, in soups, carrots or garnish.

Catnip Herb/Spice, European, Catnip Seeds, Mint Family

Catnip is a strong-smelling herb. It is native to Central Europe, though it can now be found in most of Canada and the Northeast United States.

Dark green leaves and white flowering heads.

Catnip (Nepeta cataria) is a fragrant, perennial herb in the mint family valued for both its botanical charm and its unique effects on animals and people. The plant features square stems, bushy branching growth reaching about 2 to 3 feet tall, and soft, grayish-green, hairy, heart-shaped leaves, along with small white to pale pink or purple-spotted flowers that bloom in spikes from late spring through fall and attract bees and butterflies. Widely known for triggering a temporary euphoric and playful response in about two-thirds of cats due to the compound nepetalactone, catnip typically causes rolling, excitement, and stimulation for several minutes before giving way to a calm, relaxed state. Beyond its feline appeal, catnip has a long history of human use, commonly brewed as a caffeine-free herbal tea with a faintly minty, pungent, and slightly bitter flavor, traditionally used to promote relaxation, aid sleep, reduce fever, and soothe digestive discomfort such as gas and colic. It is also valued as a natural insect repellent and a pollinator-friendly addition to herb gardens.
