Heirloom used as baby green, microgreen or bunched. Purple leaves.

Use in salads, stir-frys, soups etc. and enjoy the fine taste of this winter hardy variety that bears a resemblance to Red Russian but more tender and juicier  leaves.

Italiko Rosso Dandelion (Cichorium intybus).

ITALIAN HEIRLOOM

This chicory variety has red stems which add a brilliant colour to salads and other dishes. Leaves are deeply lobed with classic bitter dandelion-like flavour.

An excellent ‘baby’ carrot variety producing slender, cylindrical roots. Good colour with minimal core. Firm foliage that holds well. Will not produce oversize carrots even when harvested late.

Nelly is a fine to medium thick shafted chive variety. Nelly is dark blue-green in color, vigorous, and upright growing. It is resistant to diseases and thrip spots on the leaves. Used for all fresh and industrial markets, particularly popular for bunching due to its long slender leaf presentation.

Dutch heirloom produces tight, tender medium-large heads often used for sauerkraut.

Glory of Dutch Cabbage (Late Flat Dutch) is a large, late-season heirloom variety prized for its broad, flattened heads and dense, tightly packed leaves. Heads can grow very heavy (often 3–5+ kg), with pale green outer leaves and a crisp, white interior. It has a firm texture and a mildly sweet, slightly earthy flavor, making it excellent for storage and processing.

Perfect for sauerkraut and fermentation due to its density and sugar content

This variety is especially valued for bulk harvests, long storage, and preserving.

Red Acre Cabbage is an heirloom, open-pollinated variety that provides excellent storage capabilities. Plants produce beautiful, reddish-purple heads that are compact and require less space than traditional green cabbage varieties. This makes it a great variety for smaller gardens or intensive planting applications.

A traditional Italian heirloom particularly good for freezing and ideal for stir-fries and steaming. Once the 3-4” main head has been cut, this will be followed by a bumper crop of side-shoot spears thoughout the summer.

Cylindra beets have smooth, easy to peel skin, with a bold, earthy flavor, typical of long beet cultivars. 

Cylindra long beets are slender, dark red, and cylindrical. They offer a sweet, earthy flavor with a fine texture, ideal for uniform slices for pickling or roasting.
