This is the Roman type bean seen all over Italy in markets. Beans will grow to 10 inches and remain tender. You can begin picking them at 5-6 inches. Very meaty. Makes a wonderful bean salad. Like all pole beans, keep picking to encourage continued production. 65 days or so to harvest. A vigorous climber, it will need support: use trellis, tripods or single poles at least 7 feet tall. Pole beans are much more productive in a tight garden space over a longer period, than bush beans. Plant after soil has warmed up well, since seeds are not treated. Plant 3-4 seeds around base of each pole or 2 seeds every six inches for trellis. Thin to one/six inches for trellis, 2 plants for poles.

Yard long bean, also called Chinese long bean, is a vigorous climbing annual and the plant begins to produce long pods, ranging from 14 to 30 inches, 60 days after sowing. The pods hang in pairs that should be picked for vegetable uses before matured. Yardlong bean is a subtropical/tropical plant and is widely grown in southeastern Asia, Thailand and southern China.

Pole bean variety. Plant is a very good yielder. Pods are very thin in shape and are long and bright green in colour.

A favorite in Italy, these flat and wide snap beans aren't available in most grocery stores. Once you taste their delicious nutty flavor you'll wish you could grow them year round. The 4"–5" long pods are slow to develop fiber and seeds so they're nice and tender. 'Roma II' is delicious eaten fresh, and is an excellent variety for freezing or canning. Disease resistant.

Roma 2 nano nano mangiatutto: Bush bean variety and a very good yielder. Pods are long and bright green in colour. 

It presents a contained vegetation, the internodes are short, with a contemporary production that extends from the ground to the top of the plant. The crop cycle is 65 days. The pod measures cm. 18/20 in length and cm. 2 wide; it has a bright yellow color from the very beginning of its formation and maintains the same fleshiness of the later classic "Meraviglia di Venezia" variety for a long time, so as to resist over-ripening for a long time.

Climbing, with little yellow horns, slow variety, with golden yellow long, large, flat pod. straight and very long  pod. It needs to be supported by stakes and nets. Its pods are rich in protein, vitamin B, Calcium and iron.  SOWING: from March to mid-July in 80-130 cm distant rows using 100-120 kg/ha seed. Pick up occurs repetitively, starting 120-130 days after sowing.

Description of scarlet runner bean: Scarlet runner beans are quick-growing vines with typical, 3-leaflet bean leaves. They grow 6 or 8 feet tall. The bean flowers are borne in clusters like sweet peas. The edible pods that follow are long, slender, green beans.

The history of Scarlet runner beans starts in North America, since red runner bean plants are native in highlands of Mexico, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua, where they have been cultivated for thousands of years. They were brought to this country in the early 1700s.

The beans are not great raw (like sugar snap peas), but are excellent when the entire bean is sautéed while they are young. These beans can range from about 3 inches up to 6 inches long, with the pods being quite hearty when at full length.

Sow 3 to 4 rattlesnake bean seeds at a depth of 1 inch and about 4 inches apart. If using If using a teepee or pole trellis system, sow seeds at the base of each stake. Water the bean patch after sowing seeds if no rainfall is expected and at least once a week throughout the growing season when no rainfall occurs.

Further historical info states that Rattlesnake beans hail from the Southwestern United States, in particular the Hopi Indians and sown with the aid of Kokopelli, a mythological being associated with fertility and germination. This variety of bean is drought resistant and perfect for sandy soils.

The Golden Nugget cherry tomato is a productive, determinate (bush) variety known for its early, abundant yields of small, golden-yellow, ping pong ball-sized fruits with a sweet, balanced flavor.
