Demon Gold is a striking ornamental and culinary chili producing small, upright, cone-shaped pods that ripen to a vivid golden-yellow/orange. Plants are compact and highly productive, often covered in clusters of glossy, smooth peppers. The flavor is sharp and slightly fruity with a clean, biting heat, making it suitable for both fresh use and drying.

Perpetual spinach is actually a chard (beet family) but is very similar to true spinach in flavour. We prefer it as it is much easier to grow and far more vigorous than true spinach. It also has the advantage of constantly producing a new crop when picked and so is ideally suited to gardening in a small space.
Health benefits of Swiss chard. Swiss chard is a highly nutritious vegetable. Just one cup provides over three times the recommended daily allowance of vitamin K. It is also commonly known as silverbeet, spinach beet, perpetual spinach, crab beet, and mangold.
Direct sow after the last spring frost. Plant seeds 1/2" deep in compost-enriched soil in full sun. Space the plants 4-5" apart; for continual harvesting of the outer stalks, space the plants 8-10" apart for larger growth.
Seeds are great for Planting in Garden or for storing in a seed safe for emergency.
For a continuous summer crop, plant more Swiss chard every two weeks. Germination should occur in about a week. Swiss chard can survive light frosts, and can be planted as a fall crop.

Malabar spinach plants grow in India and throughout the tropics, primarily in the moist lowlands. While the dark green leaves resemble those of spinach, this is a vine type of plant that thrives in hot temps, even exceeding 90 F. (32 C.) Cool temperatures cause Malabar spinach to creep. It is grown as an annual, but grows like a perennial in regions that are frost free.
Malabar Spinach is a rapid growing Indian spinach. Leaves are broad, dark green and thick. The plants are very tender and attractive. Repeated harvest can start 25 days after planting.

Mixture of Golden & Green Purslane. It has red stems and small, green leaves. It has a slightly sour or salty taste, similar to spinach and watercress. It can be used in many of the same ways as spinach and lettuce, such as in salads or sandwiches. Purslane grows in many parts of the world, in a wide range of environments.
Purslane is a pleasant salad herb, and excellent for scorbutic troubles. The succulent leaves and young shoots are cooling in spring salads, the older shoots are used as a pot-herb and the thick stems of plants that have run to seed are pickled in salt and vinegar to form winter salads.
