Sangria watermelons are large, oval to oblong fruits, averaging 17 to 25 centimeters in diameter. The rind is smooth, firm, and dark green, covered in light green, broken stripes, and mottling. Underneath the surface, the thin portion of rind that connects to the flesh is white, crunchy, and edible with a vegetal, cucumber-like flavor. The flesh is dark red, dense, aqueous, and crisp, encasing many black-brown, flat seeds. Sangria watermelons are known for their smooth-grained texture and have a high sugar content emitting a sweet, subtly fruity flavor.

Ají cachucha peppers are small, squat, and wrinkled, with a light green color that turns yellow-orange and then red when ripe. They have a similar appearance to habanero and scotch bonnet peppers, but are milder.

The Queen of the Night tomato is an heirloom variety from Germany, known for its striking appearance and rich, savory flavor. It features a unique color palette of orange-red, streaked with deep purple or black "shoulders" where the sun hits it, and a vermillion interior. La Sucette de Provence is an old French chili pepper variety originating from Provence, France. It has a long, tapered, conical shape measuring about 10 to 15 cm, often compared to a small lollipop or tongue. The pepper matures from green to bright red, sometimes passing through orange hues, and offers a distinctive fruity flavor with moderate heat ranging from about 1,500 to 2,500 Scoville Heat Units. Its thin flesh makes it especially well suited for drying, though the skin can become slightly tough when fully mature.
