Sweet Banana

One of the dependable basics that just produces and grows like crazy. The Banana is one of the best sweet pepper varieties. It usually dodges the Pepper plant diseases too. Sweet Banana - A great pepper for short season climates because it produces so quickly. It is versatile and flavorful and can be used successfully in a wide range of dishes. Pickled, stuffed or jellied are a few.

In early spring, start seeds indoors 8 weeks prior to warm nightly temperatures. Place the seeds in sterile media and cover 1/4” deep. Provide 85°F bottom heat, bright light and keep moist at all times. Seeds will germinate in 7 - 21 days. Transplant seedlings into pots and grow until there are 6 true leaves on the plant. Plant them directly into rich soil, 30” apart or into large 5 gallon containers. Harvest peppers when they are light yellow and full size.

Pimentos are sweet, succulent, aromatic, and one of our favorites! Fresh from the garden they can be used as the filling inside green olives, in the making of pimiento cheese and stuffed to be served as an appetizer. An easy way to serve them is cut off the top of the pepper and remove the seeds. Stuff with a bit of fresh mozzarella and brush with olive oil. Grill until the peppers begin to soften and the cheese starts to melt. 

Expect heavy yields of large thick walled 4-1/2" long by 3" wide sweet peppers that will turn from green to red when mature. These easy to grow plants will reach 24” high. Capsicum annuum (85 days) Heirloom - open-pollinated

Rosmarinus is an evergreen plant (shrub) with thin needle-like leaves that resemble pine needles. If the leaves or flowers of Rosmarinus rub with fingers, you can feel the refreshing pleasant smell of the plant. For use in cooking and cosmetic purposes, rosemary can be grown in pots and containers at home, on a balcony or on a plot. Very unpretentious and prefers poor permeable soils with any composition, open solar location and partial protection from the wind. In our regions, Rosmarinus in a pot with the onset of temperatures close to 0 ° C is recommended to be transferred to cool rooms (on a terrace or loggia), where the plant will perfectly survive the winter. Rosmarinus easily tolerates drought.

Marglobe Supreme

The Marglobe Supreme Tomato is great for home and market growing as it is the highest producing tomato plant that we have ever seen!

History: It was originally released in 1925 and was first developed in 1917 from a cross between ‘Marvel’ and ‘Globe’. Marglobe Supreme has been in demand for several generations while many other varieties have come and gone. 

This high yielding tomato plant is stocky, vigorous, and has excellent disease tolerance. Its vine growth is uniform and provides good protection from sun-scald. The high yields of crack-resistant, smooth and round shaped tomatoes are perfect for canning.

250 seeds/gram Carrots will grow well in any open, well cultivated, deep garden soil. As the seed is quite small, mix it with some sand when sowing. Once soil temperature rises above 7.5 C (45F), sow seed about 7-15 mm (1/4-1/2") deep in rows spaced 45-60 cm (18- 24") apart. Stagger several sowings over the next few weeks. Keep the seedbed evenly moist during the 3 week germination period. Thin the seedlings during the early stages of growth until they are 5 cm (2") apart. Hon tsai tai is an Asian leafy plant that has dark green leaves with purple veins. Interesting to this plant are the stems, which are a rich deep purple color with tiny yellow flowers. Hon tsai tai has a flavor very similar to broccoli raab, but not as strong: it's sweeter in flavor with a more delicate textured leaf

Green Wave Mustard is a popular variety known for its upright growth, dark green, heavily curled leaves, and mildly spicy flavor.
