Stupice

A variety originating in the Czech Republic, Stupice Organic tomato seeds were introduced to North America in 1976. Plants are a naturally disease resistant, compact indeterminate (vine) type with attractive potato leaves.

History: This heirloom tomato is from Czechoslovakia and arose in 1955 from a cross made at the cultivator station in the community of Stupice (near Prague). It bears an abundance of very sweet, flavorful 2-3" deep red fruit.

The thick-walled dark green fruits average 3-1/2” long by 1-1/2“ wide and are very pungent. This variety is slow to turn red and grow on plants from 24” to 36“ tall. History: This big heirloom is originally from Polk County, Minnesota. Big Rainbow tomatoes have a mild sweet taste. Each tomato slice is a work of art, deep golden yellow with dramatic splashes of bright red. 

Chocolate Scotch Bonnet has a slight bonnet shape like it's yellow relative. But it is much hotter and the peppers get much larger in size. It has a fruity and slightly smoky flavor. Peppers ripen from green to dark brown and can get almost 2 inches in diameter.

Anyone that's ever had a taste of the unique, super-hot Scotch Bonnet chilli pepper will know that it packs a powerful punch – it hits between 100,000 to 350,000 scovilles! To put it in perspective, Jalapeno peppers have a Scoville unit between 1,000 to 10,000. So yep, they're hot.

Scotch bonnet (also known as Bonney peppers, or Caribbean red peppers) is a variety of chili pepper named for its supposed resemblance to a Scottish tam o' shanter bonnet. It is ubiquitous in West Africa as well as the Caribbean.
