Purple Calabash is a tomato variety with the following characteristics:

The fruit is a combination of marbled pink, purple, and chocolate. When ripe, the fruit can be reddish purple to chocolate in color. 

The fruit is flattened, ribbed, and ruffled, and can be about 3 inches wide and 1.5 inches high. 

The fruit has a rich, acidic, and sweet flavor with a smoky and citrus finish. Some say it tastes like wine.
