The Rusty Rainbow Oxheart tomato is a striking, heart-shaped heirloom celebrated for its complex flavor and exceptional beauty. Its rust-brown exterior—often accented with green or yellowish shoulders—hides a stunning interior marbled with shades of pink, orange, and green, creating a true “rainbow” effect when sliced. The dense, meaty flesh contains few seeds and offers a rich, sweet, fruity flavor with aromatic depth and a subtle hint of spice or tanginess, sometimes described as slightly tropical. Naturally low in acidity, it is gentle on the palate and well suited for fresh eating.

This indeterminate variety is highly productive, continuing to grow and set fruit throughout the season, with maturity reached in approximately 80–85 days. A beautiful plant with many flowers that produce spicy hot 3” pointed fruits. The peppers begin green and as they mature will ripen into a deep red color. Both green and red peppers appear on the plant at the same time. which makes them a fantastic ornamental variety as well as edible.

Thai Dragon peppers can be harvested and used while still small and green or later at a mature red color. Great for your Asian-inspired recipes. A little bit goes a long way!

In early spring, start seeds indoors 8 weeks prior to warm nightly temperatures. Place the seeds in sterile media and cover 1/4” deep. Provide 85°F bottom heat, bright light, and keep moist at all times. Seeds will germinate in 7 - 21 days. Transplant seedlings into pots and grow until there are 6 true leaves on the plant. Plant them directly into rich soil, 36” apart or into large 5-gallon containers. Harvest peppers when they are green or red.

Fruity and smokey sweet.

The Oroma tomato is a paste variety developed in the United States by Oregon State University and released in 1993. Bred specifically for processing, it is an open-pollinated, determinate tomato that produces elongated, Roma-style red fruits with a firm, meaty texture and very few seeds. These qualities make Oroma especially well suited for sauces, paste, and canning, as the fruits are easy to peel, hold their shape well, and have good keeping qualities. While primarily valued for processing, Oroma can also be used for fresh eating, particularly in the Pacific Northwest where it performs reliably.

Pineapple tomatoes have a huge body with golden-orange and red marbled skin. They show the same beautiful coloration on their interior flesh, which has a strong tomato aroma and boasts low acidity and few seeds with more solid, meaty flesh. This variety has an incredibly unique flavor as it is primarily sweet, but with a satisfying, and even surprising, citrus tang. Pineapple tomato plants bear heavy yields of fruit with individual tomatoes weighing between one and two pounds. As an indeterminate variety, Pineapple tomato plants will continue to grow and set fruit up until a frost. Pineapple is among the taller of tomato plants, often reaching eight or more feet high, hence staking or caging these plants is recommended in order to encourage healthy growth and to prevent garden sprawl.

Large 1 lb. Bi-color fruits are famous for their sweet and fruity low acid flavor. A beautiful tomato with a unique color of yellow on the outside and red streaks inside. The Pineapple tomato vines set fruit fairly early, and also ripen quickly. In mid-summer, they seemed to stop blooming, then they put on another flush of production in late summer/early fall. The fruit is very lovely when sliced, and has great flavor. One big slice of this tomato on bread with mayo makes a great summertime sandwich.
