The peppers start out green and ripen to a pumpkin-orange color, which is usually only seen in bell peppers. 

The peppers are fruitier than a traditional jalapeño, but they don't have hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, or cloves. 

The peppers have a Scoville unit rating of 22,000–25,000, which is hotter than a traditional green or red jalapeño. 

The peppers are great for stuffing, pickling, or roasting.

Tangerine Tiger peppers are a cross between Aji Tangerine and Sugar Rush Stripey peppers: 

Tangerine Tiger peppers are striped and can vary in shape, from longer to stouter. They can have speckles and some purple blushing. 

Tangerine Tiger peppers have a fruity flavor and are not very hot, with a Scoville heat unit (SHU) of around 3,000.
