  • Curbside Pickup

    Curbside pickup is available both to all customers except those purchasing bulk-lawn solutions.

    Curbside pickup is $2.50 Service Fee
    You can pick up your order when we advise it is ready to be picked up. Pickup is also subject to our availability as well so please do not expect us to drop everything and go. Please wear a mask and keep proper distance for anti-COVID measures. 

    This fee covers our time to cover costs to pack order and cover gasoline costs to arrange meeting with you for a quick curbside pickup. It is charged when processing your order. 

    You may notice that our website has a shipping fee for most common items purchased unless they meet conditions of prepaid freight.

    If you would like curbside pickup, please indicate on your comments section in the checkout process and proceed to pay.

    We will discard additional fees against our service fee at process of payment. 

    All of our orders are subject to pre-approval regardless before we charge your credit card.

    Are you a teacher or principal looking for a fun and new fundraising program for your elementary or secondary school? Do you remember passing out the cookie dough forms when you were younger collecting proceeds and donations? How about sharing the word for baked goods at your local community center? Here at Seed2Go, we would like to offer you an opportunity to do something unique with Garden Seeds.

     

    Would you like to run an educational school campaign where students collect funds from neighborhoods, families and friends to purchase garden seeds? You can select what percentage of the proceeds goes towards your incentive or towards a Registered Canadian Charity. We will leave you with open margins to decide the profits on the seeds for your fundraising campaign. Yes, you read that correctly; we will let you create your own price and design your own packages for your school/business/fundraiser.

     

    Where can I start to create the Seed2Go Garden Seed Fundraising program?

    Please contact sales@seed2go.ca with all the details of your fundraiser. We have a creative team and our very own inhouse graphic designer to be able to offer ideas and provide extended perspective to your program.

     

     

    What are the associated cost of the fundraising program?

    Each and every campaign is different. Please contact sales@seed2go.ca to find out more information.

     

    What timeframe do I need to be in to have a successful fundraising program?

    The growing season typically starts in early March for some seeds. We prefer that you give us at least 4 weeks in advance prior to designing the package and ensuring we have the seed to supply your program.

    The sooner you come to us with the program, the sooner we will be able to deliver a quality product to execute a good program this year.

     

     

    What is our cost on your seed package and how does payment work?

    We will be giving you a bulk discount on all the seeds purchased for your campaign. Payment is required upon shipping the goods to your desired address and is done by Visa/Mastercard/EFT.

     

     

    How many varieties can I choose from?

    Search our website to pick what variety you would like in your campaign. We will work with you to deliver your needs rather than meet ours.

     

    Can you create us an Master Ordering Sheet?

    Absolutely! We will do this free of charge as a goodwill service with your order.

     

    What is the minimum order for a fundraiser?

    We would require at least a minimum of 100 packages per order.

     

     

     

     

     

     

  • Returns & Refunds

    Return Policy:

    Customer is responsible for shipping the goods back to us. If the goods are opened or tampered or expired, credit will not be refunded to the customer. We will allow returns within 4 months of purchase; this is because of the expiry date on the back of every package.

     

    Non-seeded items can be returned within 30 days of receipt. Items must be in returned in resaleable conditions and in its original packaging for resale. We will also require your original invoice with the return so we can produce and credit back your account.

     

    Payment Pre-Authorization                        

    As all of our online transactions are done through credit card, we do not authorize payment until your order is shipped and invoiced. We will only charge you for the items we ship to you. If there is an item backorder, we will notify you via an email to advise such item is not available and we will automatically adjust your order. We do not charge for items on backorder until they are shipped.

    Can I cancel or change my order?

    Orders can be cancelled or changed. Please contact sales@seed2go.ca to request a change to your existing order.

     

    Return Policy:

    Customer is responsible for shipping the goods back to us. If the goods are opened or tampered or expired, credit will not be refunded to the customer. Returns allowed within 30 days of purchase as long as the goods are not tampered with and in condition for resale.

     

    How long does it take to receive our order?

    We ship by Canada Post, UPS, Purolator, Loomis Express or Dicom or by truckload on larger parcels. Service is typically 2-3 days from time of placed order. We will notify you when your items have shipped.

    I would like to place an order, how do I do that?

    Find the product your interested in ordering and select the quantity you would like to purchase and then click add to cart. Once you have finished shopping for all your items, preview your cart by clicking the cart button at the top right of every page. Then, kindly follow through with the checkout process.

     

    Sales Tax on Orders?

    We ship to Canada only. All sales tax is applied by the shipping and invoicing address.

     

    Do you give payment terms?

    We do not give payment terms until such customer produces $2500.00+* in annual purchases through Cash on Delivery/Credit Card transactions. This type of service allows us to deliver your goods on time and keep our vendors satisfied with our business professionalism.

  • Certification Marks

    FCC Certification

     

    FCC stands for Federal Communication Commission. It’s an agency in the U.S. Federal Government that is structured under Chapter 1 Telecommunication Code of Federal Regulations known as 47 CFR. Its main responsibility is to manage the radio spectrum and to protect against radio and broadcast noise by enforcing standards and regulating the amount of radiated electromagnetic interference.

     

    Electronic products interfere by causing noise. This occurs when you have electric current moving inside of a product that automatically produces electrical waves in the space around it. These “radio waves” are unwanted interference and can cause other nearby components and products to be adversely effected.

     

    The FCC requires that an unintentional radiator (device which creates radio waves energy within itself, which is then unintentionally radiated from the device) need to be tested and operate under the FCC standards and guidelines. The FCC has the ability to impose penalties on manufacturers, importers, retailers and even end users for non-compliant product.

     

    An unintentional radiator is classified into two classes, A and B. Class A is a device that is marketed for use in a commercial or industrial type environment. The class B device is a device that is marketed for use in a residential environment but could be used in a commercial, industrial or business environment. Class B devices have tougher testing parameters to meet.

    Underwriters Laboratories Inc.

     

    Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (www.ul.com) is an organization that writes safety standards, tests products and certifies them. UL has developed over a thousand safety standards, and millions of products and their components are listed to these standards.

    Intertek Testing Services

     

    ETL is a mark provided by Intertek Testing Services. Intertek (www.intertek.com) is a global leader in testing inspection and certification services. They are a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory and tests products to UL, CSA, IEC and CE standards.

     

    A product bearing the ETL Listed Mark is determined to have met the requirements of prescribed product safety standards. Moreover, the mark indicates that the manufacturer's production site conforms to a range of compliance measures and is subject to periodic follow-up inspections to verify continued conformance.

     

    A Listed mark with both "us" and "c" identifiers signifies that the product bearing the mark complies with both US and Canada product safety standards. If it bears just the "us" identifier, it has been tested and deemed compliant to the United States. A Listed mark with a "c" identifier means the product bearing it complies with Canada product safety standards only.

    Canadian Standards Association

     

    The Canadian Standards Association (CSA) is a nonprofit association serving business, industry, government and consumers in Canada and the global marketplace. Among many other activities, CSA (www.csa.ca) develops standards that enhance public safety. A Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory, CSA is very familiar with U.S. requirements.

    Underwriters Laboratories Inc. Recognized Component Mark

     

    These are Marks consumers rarely see because they are specifically used on component parts that are part of a larger product or system. These components may have restrictions on their performance or may be incomplete in construction. The component recognition marking is found on a wide range of products, including some switches, power supplies, printed wiring boards, some kinds of industrial control equipment and thousands of other products

    Conformance European

     

    The CE Mark is a requirement for products sold to the European Market. The CE Mark identifies a product as complying with the health and safety requirements spelled out in European legislation (Directives) and is mandatory for equipment operating in the European Union (EU). Once the product has received the CE Mark it can circulate freely throughout the European Union countries.

    OMRI Listed

     

    The Organic Materials Review Institute is a national nonprofit organization that determines which input products are allowed for use in organic production and processing. OMRI Listed® products are allowed for use in certified organic operations under the USDA National Organic Program.

    California Department of Food & Agriculture

     

    Products bearing this seal are registered with the California Department of Food & Agriculture Organic Input Material Program. The Organic Input Material (OIM) Program registers fertilizing materials to be used in organic crop and food production. The program is mandated by the Legislature and supported by the industry. Products claiming to be appropriate for use in organic production are verified to comply with the California Fertilizing Law and Regulations and USDA National Organic Program Standards.

    RHP Certified

     

    Since 1963, RHP has been the European knowledge & certification center for potting soil, substrates and growing media used by Dutch and European growers, professional horticulturists and consumers. If you are a grower and consider the quality of your finished product of paramount importance, you have found the right certification entity at RHP. The RHP quality mark applies for substrate producers, substrate suppliers, extraction and production sites of raw materials.
